Join Coreshift Counseling

I am expanding my private practice in DeWitt, Michigan and am excited to bring on an LMSW or LLMSW for an in-person position. You will have your own private office, furnished with the essentials, with room to personalize. The space is part of a warm, professional suite, that includes a shared waiting area for clients.

You’re also welcome to offer virtual sessions using your own laptop, and you’ll have access to my EHR system and practice infrastructure.

This position is ideal for a grounded therapist who values autonomy, professional integrity, and meaningful clinical work. Private practice requires a high level of independence, self-direction, clinical confidence, and professional accountability. This role is best suited for a therapist who is comfortable making clinical decisions, developing their therapeutic voice, and growing into the responsibilities that come with independent practice.

About the Position

Position is for an LMSW or LLMSW who is motivated, ethical, and client-centered. This is a 1099 contractor position ideal for therapists who prefer a practice environment where independence and clinical partnership naturally coexist.

Support & Supervision

LMSW:Optional consultation and case support are available and can be tailored to your experience level, interests, and goals.

LLMSW:Weekly supervision is provided, along with consistent guidance and case consultation as you build confidence and clinical skill.

Compensation

This is a percentage-based 1099 pay structure. For fully licensed clinicians (LMSW’s), the split begins at 30% for the first 120 days of an active caseload. After that period, the ongoing split is 25%.

For limited licensed clinicians (LLMSW’s), the split begins at 35% for the first 120 days of an active caseload. After that period, the ongoing split is 30%.
